Nearly 200 researchers, clinicians and healthcare partners gathered last Thursday for the Niagara Health Knowledge Institute’s annual Research Day at Niagara College’s Niagara-on-the-Lake campus.
The event focused on strengthening research in community hospitals and improving patient care through collaboration, education and local research initiatives.
Organizers say the goal is to bring more healthcare research closer to the communities it serves.
