A St. Catharines driver is facing several charges after being caught going 225 kilometres an hour on the QEW.
OPP stopped the vehicle early Saturday morning near Glendale Avenue in Niagara-on-the-Lake, where the speed limit is 100.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle and police say he also failed a roadside alcohol test.
36-year-old Timothy Randall is facing several charges, including impaired driving, dangerous operation and stunt driving.
His licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
