Students with developmental disabilities and other significant learning challenges have a new way to hone their skills in a post-secondary learning environment.
Niagara College's Community Integration through Co-operative Education program, also known as CICE, has opened an Experiential Learning Lab, providing those students a place to simulate and practice entry-level job skills.
In a recent ceremony, the college dedicated the lab to the Ontario Paper Thorold Foundation for its $100,000 donation in support of the project.
