Niagara College has secured $1.75 million over five years to launch its third Technology Access Centre (TAC), the Horticultural and Environmental Sciences Innovation Centre.
Funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, the new centre will support research and innovation for small- and medium-sized agricultural and environmental businesses.
The announcement was made as part of a $29.8 million federal investment in applied research across Canada.
Niagara College now boasts three TACs, joining national leaders in applied innovation.
