As demand for skilled clean-energy workers rises, Niagara College and the Province of Ontario are investing in new training tools to prepare future technicians.
The Welland Campus has received state-of-the-art instructional equipment for its two-year Renewable Energies Technician program, thanks to a joint investment worth over $600,000.
The new equipment includes a solar training facility, four heat pump trainers, and two geothermal learning systems, giving students hands-on experience in solar, HVAC, and geothermal technologies.
