A fundraiser supporting rehabilitation care in Niagara has raised nearly $70,000 - and counting.
The fourth annual Hope in Motion was held Saturday at Canada Games Park, with 211 people taking part.
Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation Executive Director Kristina Manzi says the event is about more than fundraising, highlighting the determination of people working through their own recovery journeys.
Funds raised will go toward specialized equipment to help patients rebuild strength, regain mobility and become more independent.
