Sudbury beat the IceDogs for the first time in four tries, 6-2 Monday afternoon in Sudbury on Joe Bowen Day in the Community Arena. The Holy Mackinaw Game saw the Wolves build a 3-0 first period advantage.
A fourth goal in the second was offset by Riley Patterson's 32nd of the year. An Ethan Czata assist gave the IceDogs captain a 10 game point streak.
After two in the final period from the home side, Jacob Monks deflected home a Haoxi Wang point shot late to end the day's scoring.
The IceDogs will continue on the road next weekend, with a pair in Eastern Ontario. Ottawa will play host to Krys Barch's side on Friday night. New Country 89.1 will have the call beginning with the pre-game at 6:45.
