The Town of Fort Erie and Mayor Wayne Redekop are mourning the passing of Dr. David Henry, a long-time local physician remembered for his compassion and dedication to the community.
Mayor Redekop called Dr. Henry “a champion for health care in Fort Erie,” recalling his passionate fight to preserve services at Douglas Memorial Hospital, while serving the community for 55 years as a family doctor.
The Mayor extended condolences to Dr. Henry’s wife, Dr. Patricia Teal, and their family, saying his legacy of care and community spirit will never be forgotten.
