Residents in Stevensville can expect a noticeable police presence on Wednesday as Niagara Regional Police carry out training in the area.
The Explosives Disposal Unit and Emergency Task Unit will be working around Burger Road and College Road.
People nearby may hear loud noises, including controlled explosions and simulated gunfire as part of the exercise.
Police are asking the public and media to avoid the area while training is underway.
