Niagara voters will have a chance to learn more about the issues facing the region ahead of the municipal election.
Brock University is hosting a free public event called “Niagara Elections 2026: Changes and Challenges” on October 5th.
The event will look at upcoming changes to regional government, along with housing, economic development, parks and recreation and public health.
Political science expert David Siegel will speak, followed by a panel discussion moderated by NCO Director Kyle Rich.
The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at Pond Inlet on Brock’s main campus.
Audience questions will be welcome, and advance registration is required.
