Air Canada flight attendants will be holding pickets at four major airports across the country today in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.
Their union, CUPE said in a statement it's to raise awareness about ongoing issues related to working conditions and to highlight their essential role in ensuring safety on board and the smooth operation of air transport.
The protests in Toronto are set for 1:00pm.
CUPE members voted almost unanimously in favour of a strike last week...but both sides say they hope to avoid that from happening.
