Niagara Regional Police have laid additional charges in connection with a homicide investigation in Smithville.
Following continued investigation, detectives launched a secondary, parallel probe.
As a result, 43-year-old Joseph Villneff of Smithville, already charged with first-degree murder, is now also facing charges of child pornography and voyeurism.
Villneff appeared in court in St. Catharines and remains in custody.
