What's Good in Niagara? EFN continuing fundraising efforts all summer

While students enjoy their summer breaks, the Education Foundation of Niagara is continuing its efforts to help students - even if they aren't in the classroom.

The foundation works with schools to make sure students have things they need if their family cannot afford it, such as supplies and winter clothing.

Coordinator Kait Wharton says this is all done through fundraising throughout the year, including their summer golf tournament

Wharton says money raised during the summer months is crucial for when kids go back to school in September.

The Education Foundation of Niagara is also behind the annual Project Prom, which helps graduating students find free dress clothes for their prom - with no stress on the parents financially.

Wharton says the need for their organization continues to grow as times get tougher for families.

Registration for their July 25th golf tournament can be found here.
