Today: St. John Ambulance is offering a babysitting course at the Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill! The course, aimed at youth aged 11 to 15, will help with safety, emergencies and leadership skills and runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Wednesday: The final Thorold BIA Car Cruise and Community Market is happening from 5:00pm to dusk! Every Wednesday until August 27th, you can enjoy raffles, food vendors and free entertainment at Battle of Beaverdams Park.
Wednesday: The City of Welland is holding the 'Corniest End of Summer BBQ'! From 11:00am to 1:30pm at Market Square, you can enjoy burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and corn hole - with all proceeds going to non-profits.
