St. Catharines Twinning Association's 5th Annual Parang in Niagara

Parang is a lively, Spanish-influenced Christmas folk music from Trinidad and Tobago—performed with string and percussion instruments, celebrating joy, community, and the Nativity.
Our annual event features authentic Parang bands, informal rhythm sections, steel pan, and more to keep the festive energy going! Guests can also enjoy a delicious variety of Trinidadian cuisine available for purchase, along with a cash bar on site. And of course, no Trini Christmas would be complete without complimentary Sorrel and Black Cake — our little thank-you for celebrating with us. Add in the warmth of our community and you’ve got the true Trinidadian Parang experience.
